Support for Preserve Penfield helps us to inform the community, stay organized, and work directly with local government to steer our town toward a better future for residents. You contribution may go toward:

  • Public outreach materials (door hangers, flyers, etc.) to inform residents of impactful developments near their homes

  • Information technology resources such as email, the website, and cloud storage to allow us to organize the information we gather through our research and share our analysis with the public

  • Legal fees for formal civil actions taken to inform public officials and give them leverage to contest destructive developments

As a grass-roots, 100% volunteer-operated organization, none of our donations are used to pay salaries or compensate officers. It's all put to work to support your community.

Anonymous Donations

We appreciate that for various reasons, supporters may wish to make their donation anonymously. To make a donation, our platform requires payment information as well as donor name, email address, state, and country. However, consider the following:

  • Donor information is visible only to the elected officers of Preserve Penfield. Information will never be shared with third parties without the express written permission of the donor.

  • Payment information is handled by the donation platform and is never visible to Preserve Penfield.

  • Donations can be made and processed using entirely made up names and email addresses.

The Zeffy Platform

We are making use of Zeffy to process donation payments. This platform is designed for maximum transparency, allowing the donor to see exactly how much of their donation will go to the receiver. They do not remove any additional payment processing fees from the donation.

To make this possible, Zeffy requests a completely optional “tip” at the time of donation to cover their operating costs. This tip may be adjusted to any amount you deem appropriate, including zero.
